Discord Orbs marks a milestone in Discord’s expansion into gamified advertising and virtual currency. With over 200 million monthly active users, this rewards system supports the platform’s growing ad revenue model. To launch Orbs, we leaned into Discord’s gaming heritage, creating an engaging video that brought the platform’s gamification directly to its core audience. Our introductory video became the first touchpoint in the user journey within the Orbs system.
